Description
The scrolled arm and scalloped back are common features in Biedermeier design, adapted by mennonite colonies settling in the prairie provinces. These HI- country benches served well the need for efficient use of space, providing seating by day and sleeping by night. This very good example retains is original mustard yellow paint and might be one of the best examples of prairie CANADIANA we have owned.
