Description

Early 20th-century leaded glass pendant light featuring a tapered shade constructed from individual panels of richly colored emerald-green textured glass.

The shade has a simple architectural form with each glass panel divided by traditional metal came. An aged brass-toned cap, ceiling chain and hanging hardware complete the fixture.

The textured green glass produces particularly attractive variations in color when illuminated, ranging from deep forest green to bright emerald. The restrained geometric construction reflects the Arts & Crafts and Tudor Revival lighting designs popular during the early decades of the 20th century.

The metal components retain their naturally aged dark patina and have not been polished.
