Description

Antique Quebec pine cupboard, circa 1860, distinguished by its uncommon multi-panel construction. Each of the four doors contains three narrow vertical panels, while framed panels continue along the sides of both sections. This repeated detailing gives the cupboard a particularly strong architectural presence.

A substantial moulded cornice, three drawers and a shaped base complete the design. Warm pine colour, porcelain drawer knobs and wide plank backboards add to the character of this distinctive French Canadian cupboard.
