Description

A collection of three original American Art Deco smoking stands dating to the early twentieth century. Each stand features a cast metal base with period decorative detailing, fluted center column, black glass ashtray insert, and distinctive handled gallery. Subtle variations in design suggest they were produced by different manufacturers yet share a cohesive Art Deco aesthetic.

Originally intended for use in hotels, clubs, office buildings, and private smoking rooms, these stands embody the streamlined elegance and craftsmanship associated with the Art Deco period. The combination of polished metal, geometric forms, and black glass creates a striking sculptural presence even when displayed purely as decorative objects.
