Description
A handsome late 19th-century American Queen Anne Revival oak stool, crafted with richly aged oak and beautifully carved ball-and-claw feet. Originally designed as a stool, its proportions and strong silhouette make it equally effective today as a low accent table or sculptural side piece.
The cabriole legs have a solid, confident form typical of American Colonial Revival furniture from the late 1800s, with restrained carving that highlights the natural character of the oak. The molded top and warm, time-softened patina give the piece presence without feeling overly formal.
Elegant yet grounded, this is a versatile period piece that works effortlessly in both traditional and layered modern interiors.
American, circa 1880–1905. Solid oak.
