Antique brass unusual wall sconce dating to the early 20th century, circa 1910–1925.

The fixture features a gracefully curved swan-neck brass arm extending from a large circular wall plate. The original-style brass shade holder retains a frosted glass acorn-form shade decorated with sweeping cut or etched diagonal lines.

The brass has developed a warm, naturally aged surface with variations and oxidation consistent with age. Particularly good proportions and an understated design that works well in both period and contemporary interiors.

Suitable for use as a bedside light, bathroom sconce, hallway light or architectural accent.
