Description

This early 19th century English Regency sideboard is crafted from solid mahogany and retains its original architectural presence and rich patina. The cabinet stands on bold carved paw feet, with turned front columns framing a balanced arrangement of drawers and cupboards.

The drawer fronts feature beautifully figured mahogany and retain their original oval brass pulls, each cast with a dove and olive branch beneath the word Peace — a motif associated with post-Napoleonic England. Hand-cut dovetails, original locks, and period construction details are evident throughout. This piece was refinished in the 1970.

A substantial and elegant piece, ideal for use as a sideboard, server, or console in both traditional and modern interiors.
