A substantial mid-century Persian Malayer runner measuring approximately 10 x 4 feet. Hand-knotted in wool with a dense Herati-inspired field on a deep navy ground framed by a rich madder red floral border.

Elegant proportions and strong saturation make this an ideal gallery or hallway piece. Wool pile on cotton foundation. Iran, c. 1950s.
