In 1860, two cousins ​​from Lyon, Claudius Rivoire and Jean-Marie Carret, joined their names and created the first French brand of pasta. Rivoire and Carret are the inventors of modern dough in France and are known widely around the country. This rare poster was printed by L'imprimerie Tourangelle which was a very popular French printing company in the late 19th Century.
