Description

A pair of large turned wooden candlesticks sourced in Nova Scotia, dating to approximately 1920. Standing 36 inches high, each features a baluster-shaped shaft with ring turnings, a broad candle dish and a stepped circular base.

The old black finish shows rubbing and scattered losses, revealing the wood beneath in places. Their generous scale and restrained detailing make them well suited to display beside a fireplace, in an entrance hall or on a substantial console.

Sold as a pair.
