This original Spanish Art Deco poster was created to promote the Exposición General Española, a major national exhibition held in Seville (1928) and Barcelona (1929). Designed by Rafael de Penagos, one of Spain’s most important Art Deco illustrators, the poster reflects the bold graphic clarity and symbolism of late-1920s European design.

Printed as an original stone lithograph on paper, it was intended for public display in prominent civic and urban spaces, projecting Spain’s cultural ambition and modern identity.
