A charming pair of early 20th century brass wall sconces fitted with original opalescent glass shades featuring frosted textured surfaces and pressed starburst decoration. The shades terminate in softly scalloped rims and are secured by period brass galleries with decorative thumb screws. Retaining a warm aged brass patina, these fixtures embody the transition from late Victorian ornament to the cleaner forms of the Edwardian period. Newly wired and ready for installation.
