Vintage Tropitone outdoor dining set manufactured in Irvine, California, consisting of a round dining table and four matching armchairs.

The chairs feature black tubular metal frames with wide woven strap seats and backs. Curved arm supports and the open woven construction give the set a clean California modern appearance while remaining practical for outdoor use.

The round table has a substantial dark top supported by a coordinating tubular base. Original Tropitone manufacturer’s label remains present, identifying the company at its Irvine, California facility and noting manufacture in the U.S.A.

Tropitone became an important American manufacturer of commercial-quality outdoor furniture, producing furniture extensively for hotels, resorts, clubs and residential patios throughout the postwar period.
