Description

Hand-carved wooden figure standing just under 3 feet in height, executed in a stylized Northwest Coast form. The figure features a geometric face, headdress, and simplified carved detailing throughout, reflecting traditional influences with a strong sculptural presence.  The possibility exists that it could be related to cigar store advertising as well.

Likely mid to late 20th century, this piece carries the character of folk interpretation rather than commercial production. Retains a warm natural surface with visible tool marks and age-appropriate wear.

A striking standalone object suitable for both traditional and modern interiors.
