Description

This beautiful antique French gold gilt mirror is a typical Louis XV or rococo style hall mirror. It has the typical asymmetrical ornamentation and facetted mirror glass. The mirror is partially gold leaf gilt and partially gold painted. The gold leaf gilding shows some natural wear through the gilding, giving the gold color a warm touch. The mirror has its original facetted mirror plate. The glass has a few minor spots and superficial scratches with no mist. The mirror has its original back cladding.
