A beautifully proportioned antique Quebec wall mirror crafted from solid pine and finished in its original hand-gilded surface.

Dating to the late nineteenth century, the frame features clean stepped moldings and a warm gilt finish that has mellowed beautifully with age. Unlike the heavily ornamented European mirrors of the period, this example reflects the understated craftsmanship associated with Quebec furniture and architectural interiors.

Its versatile proportions make it equally suited to an entryway, powder room, bedroom, or above a console, where it adds warmth and authentic antique character without overwhelming a space.
