ALL A RESULT HOME DECOR AND FURNISHING BECAME VERY POPULAR.
In 1940, Sears introduced the "Harmony House" brand as a means to standardize interior decorating colors from its many manufacturers. Initially using only four basic colors, eventually Harmony House was expanded to 18 colors, each in light, medium, and dark shades. Literally any household item could be purchased in the Sears Harmony House line, including appliances, furniture, paint, wallpaper, carpet, draperies, and of course - clocks! The Harmony House line was discontinued in 1968.
