Description

Large antique table lamp dating to approximately 1910–1930, featuring a decorative cast-metal base and substantial pyramidal slag glass shade.

The shade is constructed with four large panels of warm cream and amber-orange marbled slag glass held within a metal frame. When illuminated, the natural variation within the glass produces a particularly warm, atmospheric light.

The architectural base has a square foot decorated with classical foliate ornament, rising to a tapered pierced standard with additional floral detailing. The aged gilt and bronzed surface has been retained, showing the wear and variation expected from an original period finish.
