Exceptional antique jeweller’s or watchmaker’s workbench dating to approximately 1900–1920.

Constructed primarily of stained softwood, the bench features numerous exterior drawers, several opening to reveal banks of miniature fitted drawers and compartments originally used for organizing watch parts, jewellery findings, stones, screws and other small components.

The raised work surface and central knee opening reflect its original professional use. Retains a wonderfully worn working finish with scratches, marks and surface wear accumulated over decades.

A distinctive and increasingly difficult-to-find example of early jeweller’s trade furniture, retaining much of its specialized interior storage.
