Authentic vintage industrial pendant light manufactured by the Appleton Electric Company of Chicago, Illinois.

This substantial factory pendant features its original green porcelain enamel shade paired with a heavy cast aluminum explosion-proof housing retaining the original red Appleton manufacturer’s label. Designed for demanding industrial environments, fixtures of this type were commonly used in factories, mills, rail facilities, workshops, and manufacturing plants throughout the early to mid-20th century.

The combination of the vivid green enamel, cast industrial hardware, and utilitarian engineering gives the fixture exceptional machine-age character. The braided suspension cable and original industrial detailing further enhance its authentic factory aesthetic.
