Handcrafted from pine, this distinctive piece features a broad shaped upper shelf, a generous central drawer fitted with two white porcelain knobs, deeply shaped side supports and a simple scalloped lower apron. The straightforward construction and decorative cutwork are characteristic of traditional French-Canadian country furniture, where practical household pieces were often given subtle regional details.

The time-worn green paint is particularly appealing, with naturally exposed wood along the edges, softened surfaces and an untouched patina developed through generations of use.
