Art Deco Green Glass Flush Mount Ceiling Light c. 1930s

Vintage Art Deco flush mount ceiling light dating approximately to the 1930s–40s, featuring a pale moss-green pressed glass shade with molded floral and scrolling decoration.

The wide flared shade incorporates an unusual clear prismatic glass band around the lower portion, terminating in a ribbed sunburst glass diffuser. A clear molded glass stem separates the shade from the brass-finished ceiling canopy, adding another decorative element to the fixture.

A particularly attractive period ceiling fixture with a combination of opaque green and clear glass that gives the light considerable detail both illuminated and unlit.

The glass shows age-related wear and small imperfections consistent with vintage use.
