Description

Mid-century modern floor lamp tentatively attributed to Gerald Thurston for Lightolier, circa 1950–1960. A slender, tapered wooden column with brass fittings rises from a sculptural white three-arm base, finished with upright brass foot caps.

The broad cream fabric shade incorporates a perforated metal upper cover and a translucent lower diffuser. Together, these soften the light and screen the bulbs from view. A switch beneath the shade provides convenient access.

The attribution is based on stylistic similarities in the shade construction, diffuser arrangement and switch placement. No maker’s label or exact documented model match has been confirme
