A charming antique figural table lamp dating to the turn of the twentieth century. The lamp features a finely cast figure of a young shepherd boy standing barefoot upon a naturalistic base beside a rustic tree stump. Finished in a rich bronze-toned patina, the sculpture displays excellent period character and detail.

Originally produced during the Victorian to Edwardian transition, lamps of this type were popular in refined European and North American interiors and continue to offer timeless decorative appeal today.
