The Faries Manufacturing Company of Decatur, Illinois, produced innovative, adjustable electric lamps and fixtures for both industrial and residential use. Robert Faries founded the company in 1894 & during the early 20th century, Faries lamps were used extensively in medical and dental offices. Since these lamps are rare & hard to find, many lamp and lighting collectors consider Faries Company lamps the “Holy Grail” of industrial lighting.
