Description

An elegant French six-light chandelier dating to approximately 1910–1925, constructed in cast bronze or brass with a beautifully aged silvered finish.

The chandelier features six scrolling arms surrounding a richly detailed central body decorated with classical foliate and acanthus motifs. A tall ornamental stem and decorative suspension loop complete the composition. The original-style silvered surface has naturally worn over time, revealing warmer bronze/brass tones beneath and creating an excellent layered patina.

A particularly attractive example of early 20th-century French decorative lighting, combining Louis XVI Revival and Neoclassical influences with more fluid French scrollwork.

The chandelier has been rewired and is ready for installation. Supplied with chain as shown.
