Early 20th century oak swivel office chair by Brooks Corning Co. Ltd., Vancouver, B.C., retaining its original brass maker’s plate.

A solid and well-proportioned example featuring a shaped saddle seat, slatted back, and substantial arms, all supported on a cast iron spring and screw-adjustable base. The mechanism remains intact, offering both height adjustment and swivel function.

Executed in quarter-sawn oak with a deep, original patina showing honest wear consistent with age and use. A strong blend of industrial function and Arts & Crafts design.

A rare Canadian-made piece with real presence—equally suited to a desk, studio, or as a standalone statement.  Found at Tosi , Vancouver.
