Description

Antique industrial factory cart dating to the early 20th century, approximately c. 1900–1920.

Constructed with a heavy timber frame and plank top supported on substantial cast iron hardware. The cart retains its original large central cast iron wheels and smaller swivelling end wheels, creating a particularly strong industrial profile.

The original surface is excellent: worn painted timber, exposed wood, oxidation to the iron and old stencilled inventory numbers remain intact. I would not restore or repaint this one. The untouched surface is a major part of its appeal.

Originally used for moving heavy materials within a factory, warehouse or industrial facility. Today it works particularly well as a low coffee table or display platform while retaining its authentic industrial character.

make a great coffee table.
