Description

This rare antique butcher block was crafted in southwest France, circa 1890. The piece stands on four fluted and spindled-shaped legs over a carved scalloped apron on all three sides and a large centre drawer with the original bronze handle.

The table top made of mixed woods including maple and beech wood, features a carving station surface shaped from generations of use and decorative metal brackets at each corner. The butcher table is in very good condition commensurate with age and use and has a rich light walnut patina.
