Description
Impressive early 20th century Beaux-Arts bowl chandelier, salvaged from an Odd Fellows lodge and dating to approximately 1910.
This substantial fixture features a richly cast plaster with bronze or brass finish with classical detailing, including repeating torch and anthemion motifs encircling the perimeter. The body is suspended by four decorative cast rods terminating in a detailed ceiling canopy, all consistent with high-quality institutional lighting of the period.
The lower diffuser is formed of thick, heavy plaster (or early composition material), designed to soften and evenly distribute light. The interior retains a 8-light cluster, providing a warm, ambient glow when illuminated—true to its original purpose in a large lodge or hall setting.
A striking and architectural lighting piece, ideal for large-scale interiors, entry halls, or commercial spaces seeking authentic period character.
Professionally rewired and fitted for standard North American bulbs.
