Description

A long antique European bench with a broad plank seat, open back, and shaped supports. Its ochre paint has exceptional character, with fine crackling, rubbed edges, and areas of darker paint showing through.

At approximately seven feet long, the bench would work well in an entryway or alongside a dining table. The form and painted surface suggest a possible Swedish origin, though its exact origin has not been confirmed.
