Rare group of 15 lights - these shades have never in stock before.

Found in Illinois Odd Fellows lodge.

These are fantastic early industrial pendants. The label identifies them as X-Ray “Eye Comfort System” pendants, made in Chicago, U.S.A. likely dating from the late 1920s into the 1930s. The embossed swirl pattern and deep green enamel are very much in line with early American factory and commercial lighting.

The “Eye Comfort System” branding was part of a movement toward improved industrial lighting during the early electrification era - reducing glare and directing light downward for workshops, drafting rooms, factories, and commercial interiors. The mention of “300-400-500” on the decal likely refers to recommended wattage ranges at the time.
