Description

An incredibly rare early 19th century entry door, salvaged from the lost villages on the SEAWAY built in 1953 in eastern Ontario. Most of these very early homes were settles by empire loyalist at the beginning of the 19th c. This doorway with glass, wood and original door plaque, was salvaged in 1953 and kept in a private collection ever since. The Canadian government created upper Canada village museum showcasing settlers life and homestead.
